Gen.4:4 ...Able brought the fat portions from some
of the firstborn ...Lord looked with favor (editor's note: Abel brought first
& best)
Heb.11:4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice
than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man when God spoke
well of his offering
Deut.26:12 You shall give it to the Levites, the
alien, the fatherless and the widow.
I Cor.9:14 ...the Lord has commanded that those
who preach the Gospel should receive their living from the Gospel.
II Cor.8:5 ...they gave ...even beyond their ability...
they pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing... they gave themselves
first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will.
Ja.1:29 Look after orphans and widows
I John 3::17 If anyone has material possessions
and sees a brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God
be in him?
Prov.3:27-28 Do not withhold good from those who
deserve it when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor,
"Come back later, I'll give it tomorrow," when you have it with you.
Ro.12:13 Share with God's people who are in need.
Practice hospitality
Ja.2:15-16 Suppose a brother or sister is without
clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go I wish you well" ...but
does nothing about his physical needs what good is it?

but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.

that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this says the Lord Almighty,
and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so
much blessing you will not have room enough for it.
72) LOVE IS A COMMAND - NOT
AN OPTION
John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Matt.5:44 Love your enemies and pray for those who
persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.
Ja.2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in
Scripture "Love your neighbor as yourself" you are doing right.
Gal.5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single
command: Love your neighbor as yourself
I John 4:8 ...whoever does not love does not know
God because God is love.
I John 3:18 Let us not love with words or tongue,
but with actions and in truth.
I Cor.13:13 ...these three remain: faith, hope and
love. But the greatest of these is love.
Gal.5:6 The only thing that counts is faith expressing
itself through love.
2 John 6 ...this is love, that we walk in obedience
to His commands.
I John 4:19 We love because He first loved us
II Tim.1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity,
but a spirit of love...

and overflow for each other.

faith ...goodness ...knowledge ...self control ...perseverance ...godliness

so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow

anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive
you your sins.
Matt.18:34-35 In anger his master turned him over
to the jailers until he should pay back what he owed. This is how My heavenly
Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.
Matt.6:14-15 For if your forgive men when they sin
against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. but if you do not
forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Lk.17:3 If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if
he repents, forgive him.
Col.3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever
grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave
you. And over all these virtues put on love.
74) LAW HAS BEEN FULFILLED
Mk.16:19 ...He was taken up into heaven and He sat
at the right hand of God.
Isaiah 55:11 ...My Word... will not return to Me
empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which
I sent it.
Matt.5:17 I have not come to abolish them but to
fulfill them ( editor's note: Jesus was referring to the Law)
Heb.8:13 By calling this covenant "new" He has made
the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.
Eph.2:15 ...by abolishing in His flesh the law with
its commandments and regulations.
Heb.9:14 How much more than will the blood of Christ
...cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death.

to us; He took it away nailing it to the cross...

may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
Gal.5:3 ...every man who lets himself be circumcised
than he is obligated to obey the whole law. You ...have been alienate from
Christ.
Ja.2:10 Whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles
at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
Gal.3:10 All who rely on observing the law are under
a curse

law by becoming a curse for us.
II Cor.3:8&10 ...will not the ministry of the
Spirit be even more glorious... If the ministry that condemns men is righteous
how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness for what
was glorious has no glory in comparison with the surpassing glory
Heb.7:18-19 The former regulation is set aside because
it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect)...
Ez.20:25 I also gave them over to statutes that
were not good and laws they could not live by...
Gal.4:9 ...how is it that you are turning back to
those weak and miserable principles.
Gal.5:1 ...do not let yourselves be burdened again
by a yoke of slavery.
Gal.3:24 The law was put in charge to lead us to
Christ.
Col.2:20-21 Since you died with Christ to the basic
principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you
submit to its rules: Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch. These are
all destined to perish with use because they are based on human commands
and teachings. Such regulations indeed have the appearance of wisdom, with
their self imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment
of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
Heb.5:6 You are a priest forever in the order of
Melchizedek
Heb.7:11-12 If perfection could have been attained
through the Levitical priesthood ...why was there still need for another
priest to come - one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?
For when there is a change in the priesthood there must also be a change
in the law.
Heb.7:28 ...but the oath, which came after the law,
appointed the Son
John 13:34 A new commandment I give you Love one
another.

eternally condemned ...if anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than
what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned.
Ro.16:17 I urge you brothers to watch out for those
who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the
teaching you have learned.

ruining whole households by teaching things they out not to teach.

82) DON'T SAY NOT TO GOD'S CALL

else to do it." Then the Lord's anger burned against Moses...

when they looked for him, he was not to be found... The Lord said, 'He has
hidden himself among the baggage."
Judges 6:14-15 The Lord turned to him and said,
"Go in the strength you have and save Israel... Am I not sending you?" "But
Lord," Gideon asked, "How can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest... and
I am the least of my family."
Lk.1:11&13 ...an angel of the Lord appeared
to him... "do not be afraid, your prayer has been answered." ...Zechariah
asked the angel, "How can I be sure of this..." "I am Gabriel, I stand in
the presence of God and I have been sent to speak to you and tell you this
good news..." ( editor's note: Zechariah was not testing the spirits, he
was simply not believing what the angel said. He was silenced until John's
birth.)
Contrast each of the above with the following reactions
to God's call:
I Sam.17:32 David said to Saul, "Let no one loose
heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him."
I Sam.3:10 The Lord came ...calling ..."Samuel Samuel."
Samuel said, "Speak for your servant is listening."

"Whom shall I send" ...and I said "here I am send me."

to cross the Jordan River ...so Joshua ordered the officers of the people
to go through the camp and tell the people "Get your supplies ready..."

much will be demanded...
84) BONDSLAVE
Gal.1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of
men, or God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please
men, I would not be a servant (bondslave) of Christ. (parenthesis added -
editor's note: Greek word for 'servant' in both the foregoing and following
verses is dulos, which means bondslave and imposes a much higher degree
of servitude than what the English word 'servant' implies.)
Ex.21:5 But if the servant (bondslave) declares,
"I Love my master and my wife and children do not want to go free... he shall
take him to the door or door post and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he
will be his servant for life.(parenthesis added)

as Jesus did.
Matt.11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from
Me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your soul.
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Jer.2:20 Long ago you broke off your yoke and took
off your bonds...
Jer.5:5-6 ...with one accord they too had broken
off the yoke and torn off the bonds. Therefore a lion from the forest will
attack them, a wolf from the desert will ravage them, a leopard will lie
in wait near their towns to tear to pieces any who venture out...
Ro.8:6 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit
that we are God's children (editor's note: sonship is our position, being
a bond slave is the level of the duty we are to assume, Jesus was a Son at
the same time He was a bondslave unto the Father as recorded in Phil.2:5&7)
Rev.7:3 Do not harm the land... until we put a seal
on the foreheads of the servants of our God.
Matt.25:21 Well done good and faithful servant.
Rev.22:3 The throne of God and of the Lamb will
be in the city and His servants will serve Him. They will see His face, and
His name will be on their foreheads.

name.
