Once the team's praise team came together it seemed that every moment of free time was spent praising. Will, one of the YWAM staff members had been sick the first few days of camp and only had a chance to join in Wednesday and Thursday. But as soon as he was able, you couldn't keep him away.

On Thursday evening, our last night at Camp Rosalie, we had the opportunity to perform many of our skits and puppet shows for the young people who were camping down the road at Camp ID RA HA JE (the name comes from the first 2 letters of the words, 'I'D RAther HAve JEsus).  As soon as we got there we set up the puppet stage. And began with a puppet show.

Then did 2 plays:

Journey - The story of Adam's creation, fall and redemption by the death and resurrection of Jesus.

                     Josh and Luke

I Am Your Father - How the Love of God will bring us through anything.

Left To Right: Dee, Tracy, Aimee, Steve, Doug, Chris

We also did the song 'Shout to the Lord' with both signing & banners

And Steve finished the evening with the 'Sin Hankie.'

On our way back to Camp, Mark & Donna took us to this ranch for what can only be described as a 'Kodak Moment.'  Try to imagine the picture perfect Colorado ranch. Set in a valley, with mountains rising majestically on each side, a stream running down the middle of the valley, white fences with horses on one side and cattle on the other.  Top it all off with a perfect sunset, and that was what awaited us.
Nathan and Doug played 'Vanna White' for us.

As beautiful as this was though, this Kodak Moment soon became a 'God Moment.' As we were driving out of the valley a full rainbow appeared to the east of us.  It went from one side of the valley to the other. We began to shout and praise the Lord, for He showed us that this was a sign to us that He was going to fulfill that which He had called us to do during our mission outreach. As you continue to read the account of our journey remember this rainbow, for God was going to bring it back to us numerous times in the days which were ahead.

When we got back to camp there was still time for one more group picture with the setting sun as a backdrop. I cannot express how close we had all become in such a short time. We simply could not get enough of each other. Group pictures were being taken every time you turned around - small groups, medium size groups - large groups you name it, everyone wanted pictures of everyone else. The love which we had for each other in the Lord just kept getting stronger and stronger. It truly was awesome.

Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of lighter moments during the week.  For instance, the outreach team's worship group came up with a song which they shared with us late one evening.

'The Potti Song"
But then the YWAM staff's team had their own song about Mark's insistence that above all else they had to be flexible.

Speaking of the staff allow me to take a few moments and tell you about the YWAM staff.  All during the 4 days we were at Camp Rosalie the YWAM staff cooked for us, taught us all the skits and plays - literally poured their hearts out for us.  They made every effort to make sure that no one was left out of any activity.  They encouraged us at every opportunity, prayed with us, taught us what they had learned during their time with YWAM, and even entertained us with some really crazy skits, corny jokes and one awesome Passion Play. Never once did any of us hear them complain, or express even the slightest hesitancy about helping us in any way.

This is even more awesome when you realize that each of these 'staff members' actually pay to come to work at this camp. Truly these brothers and sisters in the Lord have taken to heart Jesus' admonition that it is better to give than to receive. During the time that we were at Camp Rosalie every member of the outreach team was privileged to learn from true servants of the Most High God. Needless to say, we fell in love with each one of them.

After we got back from Camp ID RA HA JE on Thursday evening we were given the privilege of ministering to the staff.  During the day on Thursday each member of the outreach team took one of the staff member's names and spent some time in prayer.  We asked the Lord to give us a verse or a word which would minister life to the staff member whose name we had drawn.

Around 9:30 PM we all met in the Lodge and began calling the staff members forward. As each team member read his/her verse or shared the word the Lord had given to them three things became quite clear. First - the team members had truly heard from the Lord. Second - the staff members were being touched by the love, grace and mercy of the Most High. And three - we were going to need a lot more Kleenex's than were there. It was truly a night to behold.

Had the Mission Adventure ended at this point it would have been a success in the hearts and minds of each team member, but this was only the beginning.  Early Friday morning we got up, took a team photo and then headed for Many Waters Mission in Waterflow, New Mexico, about half way between Farmington and Shiprock.
