After a hardy breakfast,
and a great time of praise and worship, Mark and Donna greeted us and gave
us a rundown of the next few day's activities.
As was true last year, we began each day with a 45 minute quiet time. We
could seek God on our own through His Word, prayer or we could read the
articles which appeared in the Metamorphosis magazine we received
in our packet of information during last night's get acquainted meeting.

it up for the camera
Before
we got down to the business of learning the various puppet plays, dramas
and dances which we would use during our times of ministry on the reservation,
we spent the morning getting better acquainted with both the YWAM staff
and the other team members we had not met the night before. We again divided
up into various groups, and took part in a variety of activities which
required a little thought and a lot of cooperation.
Crossing the 'electric fence'
'Hit & Change Sides' Volleyball
While blindfolded, grab the rope and form a perfect square
A little group juggling
And finally, some 'Pictionary'
That afternoon
we got down to the business of learning the roles each of us were to take
on at various times during our outreach.
Learning puppet plays in the open air.
(Which at times contained the smell of the nearby
wildfire.)
Using the Lodge as a 'rehearsal hall.'
Or using the ball field as a stage for drama practice
On Thursday evening, about 18 members from both the CHS and UGM portions
of the team got together for some serious prayer and intercession. The
team was united in it's desire not to see a repeat of the type of attacks
which had occurred on the last two evenings. As such, after about 45 minutes
of prayer, it was determined that the Lord wanted us to divide up into
groups of 2, and take our Bibles and walk the peremiters of the camp. We
did so both praying over the whole area, and reading Scriptures outloud
as we went.
